Alexander focuses on customs and currency regulations, as well as providing legal support for foreign trade transactions. He has successfully completed numerous projects involving resolution of customs disputes and provision of advice to major Russian and international companies on goods import and export. He is an expert in customs valuation, HS classification, product certification, customs compliance, customs trade mark protection and currency control, as well as other issues related to foreign trade activities.

Prior to joining BGP Litigation, Alexander spent over ten years at the international law firm BCLP, heading the customs dispute resolution group and advising major international and Russian companies on customs projects. Before that, he worked at the central office of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
