The owner of a website where users can communicate among themselves or with the website's support may be considered as an information distribution organiser and entered by Roskomnadzor on a special register. The list of companies at risk is very wide: websites of banks, airlines, delivery services, clinics, online stores, etc.
Such companies are obliged to store and transmit user messages to the Federal Security Service. Given the tightening regulation, we provide legal support for companies on matters related to the status of an information distribution organiser: from analysing websites for compliance with information distribution organiser attributes to interaction with the Federal Security Service and Roskomnadzor and representing companies in administrative offence cases.
