BGP Litigation Strengthens its White Collar Crime Defence Practice Serving Businesses

BGP Litigation announces that Partner Denis Saushkin, together with Attorneys Alexey Lyamin and Sergey Dyakin, are joining the firm.

Denis has over 25 years’ experience of representing both victims and defendants in complex criminal cases involving fraud, deliberate bankruptcies, tax, official, economic and corruption-related crimes, as well as in relation to illegal business and banking operations, and international trade crimes. Denis also counsels businesses on criminal compliance.

Denis assesses corporate business models for risks of criminal prosecution of the management and/or beneficial owners, makes appropriate risk mitigation recommendations and trains employees in how to deal with law enforcement authorities.

Denis’s experience includes representing a Russian deputy minister in relation to abuse of office charges, a top manager of a major car dealer in relation to RUB 1.4 bln larceny charges, the owner and senior management of an outdoor advertising equipment producer in relation to more than RUB 3.7 bln tax evasion and cash-out charges.

Denis has been ranked by The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Pravo-300 and Kommersant. He holds the golden medal “For Collaboration” from the Russian Ministry of Justice. He is also an expert for the Office of the Russian Presidential Business Ombudsman.
