BGP Litigation announces the joining of 20+ professionals led by partner Alexandra Kurdyumova and the pooling of efforts with Futura Law, an international consulting firm, to offer comprehensive support for cross-border projects — from business structuring and corporate services to tax advice and fintech projects. BGP Litigation also expands its trademark registration and large international brand portfolio management expertise — this is all thanks to Alexandra’s experience who previously launched and developed the relevant practice area at Versus Legal. The new team will also strengthen BGP Litigation’s MENA Desk and will supplement the firm’s international offering, thus reinforcing our presence in Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, the EU and the U.S. Along with that, new practices will be formed in the firm with a focus on fintech, digital asset regulation, and IT projects.

Alexandra Kurdyumova is a recognised expert in digital business, intellectual property and IT law. She has been ranked by Best Lawyers, Forbes, Kommersant and Pravo-300. Alexandra has 15 years’ work experience in more than 100 jurisdictions, she has implemented 400+ international projects and is one of the most renowned professionals for international launching of multi-jurisdictional projects and for legal advice on technology and fintech services. Before joining BGP Litigation, Alexandra led Futura Law where she was a co-founder, senior partner and head of the Versus Legal practices, and prior to that she was a project manager at Ernst & Young.

The newcomers also include team leaders Anastasia Sukhotskaya and Arthur Faniyev and international corporate law, crypto regulation, intellectual property and IT professionals Valery Gziryan, Egor Lvov, Alexey Romanov, etc.

“The arrival of the new team is a logical step to further implement BGP Litigation’s strategy for building a multi-service firm with an international focus. We have strengthened our capabilities to advise on high technology projects, crypto ecosystems and cross-border transactions”, BGP Litigation’s partner Dmitry Bazarov commented.

The team’s experience covers creation of international corporate structures, financial and contractual models, management of trademark portfolios for major corporations (up to 6,000 trademarks managed across 100+ countries), technology protection in cross-border projects, EdTech and IT service launching, asset tokenisation, crypto licensing, formation of legal models for DeFi, and comprehensive tax and sanctions analysis.

“BGP Litigation has been building a solid infrastructure to advise on cross-border and high technology projects. This is an opportunity for us to get involved into huge interdisciplinary tasks associated with international business structuring, digital products and regulation of innovative industries”, Alexandra Kurdyumova commented.
